A Happy New Year....& A Happy Birthday To Me....

This new year is so much more for me than just a change in the date. It is actually a new beginning....something I have wanted for years.
Melancholy for the things & people I have left behind, excitement & anticipation for all the things that are yet to come, the sheer joy of having the people I love the most near me... it's the greatest feeling in the world...something I wish you all get to experience this coming year.

I am absolutely nothing without you...

I don't think dedicating a single day to women is enough for what they dedicate each day of their lives. But having said that, even though some people might say it is a gimmick, days like this should be reminders of how significant they are for us. It is the mothers, the aunts, the sisters, the wives, the daughters...the women, who give meaning to our otherwise meaningless lives.
So, like we do on birthdays and anniversary...let us use this day as an excuse to go out of our way to tell them they are special and show them that we are grateful for what they do and all that they give.
And to the very special women in my life...I want to say what I have said many times before...I am absolutely nothing without you...your friendship, your love, your blessings is what gives me strength. You all make life worthwhile.
