A moment, full of memories....

It's funny how senses and memories work, how a simple thing can trigger a cherished memory. Early morning the other day, on the way back  from an all nighter at work, I passed a tea stall with coal burning stoves. And in an instant the smells of burning coal and fresh brewing tea transported me right back to summer mornings in Kishanganj. In that moment, I saw my Dida sitting beside the stove ready to serve the tea. Ma and Choti siting beside her talking. Isha ready for school, Ili running around. Maami with little Rishu on her shoulders...in that moment I relived some of my best memories. It's funny how senses and memories work....

Just a thought...

#Respect stems from heart and mind... Standing up or sitting down really doesn't matter!

In Memoriam

It is hard to imagine life without a loved one...but then death is the truest of truths and no one is exempt. And life, life goes on...we live on with a sense of loss, pain & sadness for having lost a dear one with only the memories and love of the dearly departed to fill the abyss they leave behind in our hearts. - Joydeep Majumdar
